      • Stress inducing food
      21 June 2018 11:00

Loma Linda University employees in the United States shared the experiment results conducted on rodents. Rats fed with fatty food had been more prone to depression than their relatives. The results turned out to be applicable to people.

Experts said that all types of food rich in saturated fats might be considered dangerous. Particularly the consumption of fatty meat and milk, fast food and fried food is detrimental to the nervous system.

The connection between depression and culinary preferences is especially pronounced in a person chosen to eat junk food in his teens.

According to experts, an unbalanced diet will inevitably lead to problems with psychological stability: a person will not be able to cope with life difficulties and will quickly turn into a depressed state, requiring constant support from others.

When it comes to dealing with stress, you need to pay attention to 7 products that will not only help stabilize your blood sugar, but also improve your emotional and psychological state.

Berries reduce the amount of sugar in the blood, increase gastric acidity, improve digestion, metabolism, increase visual acuity and improve the blood supply to the retina. Benefit of chocolate directly depends on amount of sugar in it. Certainly, milk chocolate with high content of sugar and vegetable oil won’t do you any good. Black chocolate is different (with at least 70% of cocoa). It contains L-theanine amino acid which possesses psychoactive compound features: it reduces the effect of stress, improves cognitive abilities and makes you feel better.
